University of MichiganOverview
The Au Sable Graduate Fellows has a long history at the University of Michigan. We have been at UM for over eight years now, bringing together over 50 graduate students for regular discussion and fellowship. Our University of Michigan chapter includes graduate students from the School of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology programs. Our meetings typically take place monthly over lunch in the Dana Building, where we’ll discuss a short article on a theme determined by the group or bring in an outside speaker from around the University. We also coordinate special events, such as group dinners and field trips around the area. The group is coordinated by Rolf Bouma, who is the Director of the Center for Faith and Scholarship and an adjunct faculty in the Program in the Environment at UM. Contact
