Au Sable Graduate Fellows Chapters

The Au Sable Graduate Fellows program currently has chapters at the University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, Cornell University, Ohio State University, and Princeton Seminary.  The AuSable Graduate Fellows program identifies graduate students with exceptional abilities, interests, and leadership potential in environmental stewardship. Activities include:
  • Monthly meetings for discussions on Christian faith and the environment;
  • Fellowship with faculty, support staff, and students who share a vision for creation care;
  • Sponsorship of lectures by persons involved in the field.

Although events and activities are open to all interested persons, the program also formally designates “Fellows” to the Institute. Designated Fellows are awarded:

  • A $200 stipend toward the purchase of books toward the development of their own environmental stewardship library;
  • Participation in a program-wide retreat each winter at the Au Sable Environmental Institute campus in northern Michigan with graduate students from other AGF chapter universities.
